Prudencio Tonete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Inko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Marcial Grabiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Inko. Majadita AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Grabiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Majadita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Sanduru to maneuver through the defense. Amado Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Majadita AFC's Octavio Eufrasio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Froylan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Mogotes got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Barea. In the 35th minute, Pedro Cristofol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Majadita AFC's Octavio Eufrasio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Majadita AFC's Octavio Eufrasio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anibal Froylan. Anibal Froylan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Rolando Inko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcial Grabiel to make the kick off. Ignacio Jakue charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignacio Jakue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mogotes booed when Majadita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Gonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Inko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Majadita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Cristofol to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Inko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Grabiel in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mogotes's zone, Rodrigo Sanduru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Froylan came out of the goal and Rodrigo Sanduru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anibal Froylan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Anibal Froylan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Eufrasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcial Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Majadita AFC's goalkeeper Rolando Inko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Cruz. Amado Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rolando Inko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Amado Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mogotes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcial Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Majadita AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Pedro Cristofol hit a great ball. Amado Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Inko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Grabiel in the 94th minute of the match. Octavio Eufrasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Froylan having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Majadita AFC had won after a very even match.
