Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Rodrigo Baraquiel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pasman FC's Victorio Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Matai in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pasman FC's zone, Placido Cerilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Azubeli came out of the goal and Placido Cerilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Abar charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Abar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 15 minutes, Rodrigo Baraquiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pasman FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Baraquiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Placido Cerilo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Francis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Cerilo couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Domingos Matai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Francis FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Domingos Matai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorio Azubeli having to make a save. Victorio Azubeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Domingos Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Cerilo in the 47th minute of play forced Pasman FC's goalkeeper Victorio Azubeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Domingos Matai made the kick off in the second half. When Placido Cerilo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Victorio Azubeli was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Luisito Abar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Victorio Azubeli firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Pasman FC's Delmiro Virila got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Placido Cerilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorio Azubeli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Pasman FC's Victorio Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Matai in the 69th minute of play. Placido Cerilo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Francis FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee gave Pasman FC a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nereo Larra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Francis FC's Alfredo Veremundo. 1-3. Alfredo Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Baraquiel in the 83rd minute of the match. Domingos Matai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Cerilo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Victorio Azubeli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Delmiro Virila's late challenge caught a Francis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Virila helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, Pasman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Virila to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Francis FC's Victorio Azubeli threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Domingos Matai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nunez Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Veremundo having to interfere. Nunez Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Francis FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Francis FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
