Marcial Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. La Paternal's Rafael Lapurdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Grabiel in the 55th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Paternal's goalkeeper Rafael Lapurdi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 played minutes La Paternal got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Olo. Rafael Lapurdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Grabiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Mogotes's Marcial Grabiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Lapurdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Marcial Grabiel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anibal Froylan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Shantala went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the final whistle went the supporters of Mogotes were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant La Paternal side.
