The coaching staff of Coneta AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlos Ralondo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Coneta AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! Honorio Gaitan came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gervasio Petri could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Jerrold in the 47th minute of play forced Coneta AFC's goalkeeper Gervasio Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Godofredo Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coneta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Argoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Coneta AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lazzarino.
