The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Parravicini's goalkeeper Nelson Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Cerilo. After a rather tough play, Parravicini's Aurelio Colas got a free kick in the 14th minute. With 18 minutes on the clock, Patricio Baudelio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 17th minute, one of Parravicini:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Parravicini. A collision led to Francis FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Maximino Iturri hit a great ball. Parravicini's Nelson Urbano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Parravicini from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Ioritz in the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Placido Cerilo could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Nelson Urbano however easily saved by the left post. When Aureliano Ioritz came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Parravicini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Ioritz couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Francis FC's zone, Luciano Miliano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Veremundo came out of the goal and Luciano Miliano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Matai hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Matai made a kick off. A collision led to Francis FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Placido Cerilo hit a great ball. Nelson Urbano came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Francis FC's Placido Cerilo. But to his dismay, Placido Cerilo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 66th minute Rogelio Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Francis FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Ioritz. Francis FC's Alfredo Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Francis FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 82 in the game by Aureliano Ioritz from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Veremundo managed to make a qualified save. Francis FC's players were relieved. Aureliano Ioritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Placido Cerilo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Aurelio Colas was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Aurelio Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Nelson Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parravicini's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
