Fernando Ubendu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Soin in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Teo Frederico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraná FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Frederico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st match minute, Lazzarino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Iraunkor to maneuver through the defense. Paraná FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lazzarino the free kick. The referee gave Lazzarino a penalty, 83 minutes into the game.
