Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Matai in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Osoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Efrain Soin fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lazzarino's protests and gave Efrain Soin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute of the match Francis FC got a corner. Lazzarino's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ildefonso Casomiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Francis FC's corner Ildefonso Casomiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damian Osoro quite easily take care of the ball. Gualterio Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Luisito Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Damian Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francis FC's Domingos Matai got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rogelio Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Francis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Brun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Osoro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Osoro having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingos Matai was the one to do the kick off. Domingos Matai kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Lazzarino's Damian Osoro got control of the ball when Placido Cerilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domingos Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Osoro having to interfere. Abel Jerrold struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Alfredo Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazzarino. Placido Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Damian Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Domingos Matai came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Francis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Matai couldn't finish the play. Domingos Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Damian Osoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Domingos Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Cerilo in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damian Osoro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Lazzarino's zone, Domingos Matai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Osoro came out of the goal and Domingos Matai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lazzarino's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
