Coneta AFC's Gervasio Petri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Oxarra in the 36th minute of play. Candido Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Venancio Oxarra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Petri was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Palmar's Albano Cesaro got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Venancio Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Sanchez to strike the kick off in the second half. Albano Cesaro in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gervasio Petri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gervasio Petri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Oxarra in the 55th minute of the match. Coneta AFC's Froilan Sanchez got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Godofredo Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Kock having to interfere. Gervasio Petri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Cesaro went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Venancio Oxarra in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Petri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albano Cesaro struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gervasio Petri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmar. With a little luck, Coneta AFC's Gervasio Petri got control of the ball when Albano Cesaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gervasio Petri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Oxarra in the 74th minute of play. Frans Kock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Oxarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Palmar's Venancio Oxarra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Petri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Venancio Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Oxarra in the 94th minute of play forced Coneta AFC's goalkeeper Gervasio Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Venancio Oxarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Coneta AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palmar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
