Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Florida's Clodoveo Oso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Domingos Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Elvio Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ricardo Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Fiorito got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Bemabe. In the 13th minute Clodoveo Oso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Silvanito charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Silvanito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Silvanito to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Fiorito's Elvio Tavio tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Humberto Silvanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ricardo Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clodoveo Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Cesario having to interfere. If Ricardo Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Gil took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Flor. Elvio Flor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Domingos Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Elvio Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Fiorito were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Gil made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Bemabe got free with Elvio Flor in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Oso in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Cesario saved Fiorito from getting behind. Florida's Elvio Flor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Florida from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Frederico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Cesario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Ricardo Frederico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Fiorito's Carolo Dominguez got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Oso in the 76th minute of play forced Fiorito's goalkeeper Rodolfo Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Bemabe got free with Elvio Flor in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 86 played minutes Fiorito got a freekick which was hit by Marco Patrido. After 91 played minutes Fiorito got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Dominguez. After recieving a nice pass, Florida's Gualterio Celino tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fiorito had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
