After a rather tough play, El Palomar FC's Silvestre Hernando got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Jogo Bonito's Gilbert Walmarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristobal Roano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Gustavo Silvanito notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jogo Bonito's Stig-Arne Hökkvist. Stig-Arne Hökkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute of the match Alfredo Mogel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig-Arne Hökkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fulgencio Orti hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Gilbert Walmarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Roano having to interfere. Gilbert Walmarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Cristobal Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, El Palomar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Cresconio came free, but Cristobal Roano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes El Palomar FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Silvanito. 27 minutes into the game, Cirilo Enetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Stig-Arne Hökkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urbano Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cristobal Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Arne Hökkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Pitin went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

When Urbano Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Jogo Bonito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Cresconio couldn't finish the play. After 69 played minutes El Palomar FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Hernando. Cristobal Roano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Walmarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Jogo Bonito's Stig-Arne Hökkvist got control of the ball when Gustavo Silvanito tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gervasio Pitin fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Palomar FC's protests and gave Gervasio Pitin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Gervasio Pitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Orti in the 82nd minute of play forced El Palomar FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, El Palomar FC's Gustavo Silvanito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Arne Hökkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With 92 minutes on the clock, Pablo Aresti commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jogo Bonito fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! In the 97th minute, Gilbert Walmarsson had to leave the field with a concussion. Jimeno Neto's late challenge caught a Jogo Bonito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Neto helped the player get up and apologised. The El Palomar FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
