The audience held their breath when Placido Fernanco in the 11th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Elvio Flor's left hand side. Elvio Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Etxekopar in the 19th minute of play. Filomeno Raitin's late challenge caught a Florida's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Frederico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Venceslao to make the kick off. Ricardo Frederico ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Alderetes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Oso came free, but Gerardo Abecia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Angelo Venceslao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Elvio Flor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Oso in the 76th minute of play forced Alderetes AFC's goalkeeper Gerardo Abecia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clodoveo Oso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Romulo Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Angelo Venceslao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
