Gilbert Walmarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Abecia having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Gilbert Walmarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jogo Bonito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Walmarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Abecia having to interfere. If Urbano Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Alderetes AFC's Stig-Arne Hökkvist threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Angel Adrio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 37 minutes of play, Jogo Bonito's Fulgencio Orti made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Abecia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jogo Bonito's Urbano Cresconio got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig-Arne Hökkvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angel Adrio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Gilbert Walmarsson made the kick off in the second half. Jogo Bonito's Stig-Arne Hökkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Venceslao in the 54th minute of play. Angelo Venceslao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Stig-Arne Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Martxelin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Gerardo Abecia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Christian Sandalio put in a rough tackle. When Felix Etxekopar fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alderetes AFC's protests and gave Felix Etxekopar a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Raitin in the 77th minute of play forced Jogo Bonito's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Arne Hökkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Raitin in the 78th minute of the match. When Alderetes AFC's Angelo Venceslao in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
