After 7 minutes, Teo Felipillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jogo Bonito and the Stardust FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Jogo Bonito getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Teo Felipillo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Jogo Bonito's Stig-Arne Hökkvist got control of the ball when Aquilino Orti tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gilbert Walmarsson came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Jogo Bonito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Walmarsson couldn't finish the play. Israel Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Urbano Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jogo Bonito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Stardust FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fausto Argi hit a great ball. When Pablo Aresti fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jogo Bonito's protests and gave Pablo Aresti a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Bazil took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Arne Hökkvist. Stig-Arne Hökkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Israel Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Cresconio in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Stardust FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Walmarsson came free, but Israel Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Pablo Aresti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Gilbert Walmarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Israel Iago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 minutes of play, Stardust FC's Tomás Bazil made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Arne Hökkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saverio Abeijon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Stardust FC's goalkeeper Israel Iago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urbano Cresconio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Israel Iago having to make a save. Gilbert Walmarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Israel Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Cresconio might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Iago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Cresconio ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Marco Martxelin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Iago. Stardust FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Martxelin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Urbano Cresconio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Israel Iago 71 minutes into the match. Marco Martxelin struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Israel Iago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jogo Bonito. Gilbert Walmarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Israel Iago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Gilbert Walmarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Iago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilbert Walmarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Israel Iago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Orti in the 89th minute. Gilbert Walmarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Iago having to interfere. Fausto Argi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Martxelin got free with Israel Iago in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the match, Gilbert Walmarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Iago. Stardust FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Walmarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.
