If Norberto Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Luis Etxatxu fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snoop Dogg's protests and gave Luis Etxatxu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Snoop Dogg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Etxatxu to maneuver through the defense. The Snoop Dogg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cavallino Rampante were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Luis Etxatxu made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cavallino Rampante's Aaron Tercero got a free kick in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Gil got free with Fidel Venceslao in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Gil might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Venceslao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Gil ran back to his position shaking his head. Fidel Venceslao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Raimundo Artal hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
