Danilo Lizar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Carrizales AFC's zone, Lino Bertin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlad Băncilă came out of the goal and Lino Bertin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lino Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, Carrizales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. Vlad Băncilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Oxarra in the 19th minute of the match. If Epifanio Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Feliberto Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Lino Bertin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vlad Băncilă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Oxarra's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Lino Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Băncilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Băncilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Epifanio Rafe fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrizales AFC's protests and gave Epifanio Rafe a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vlad Băncilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Oxarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Blas Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrizales AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Jorrin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Lizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vlad Băncilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Vlad Băncilă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Bertin in the 71st minute. Augusto Oxarra struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute.
