Robles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Alvarado the free kick. After a rather tough play, Robles's Jose Fagondo got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Club Atletico Alvarado's Roque Segio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 13 minutes, Roque Segio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Alvarado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Segio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Roque Segio sped through Robles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacinto Platon. In the 20th minute, Hilario Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Club Atletico Alvarado's Roque Segio in the 23rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jacinto Platon was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Robles through an amazing save. After 23 minutes of play Robles's Jose Fagondo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Robles getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jose Fagondo hit a great ball. Arturo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Arturo Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Club Atletico Alvarado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Diaz couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Robles's zone, Roque Segio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Platon came out of the goal and Roque Segio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Epifanio Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Jonas Acosta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Alvarado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Acosta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute Roque Segio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Ledesma hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match, Roque Segio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacinto Platon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Segio made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Segio in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Platon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 played minutes Club Atletico Alvarado got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Montez. Roque Segio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Eguzki in the 62nd minute of the match. Club Atletico Alvarado's Rogelio Sendoa got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Luisito Belmiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Robles and the Club Atletico Alvarado players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Robles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 68 minutes, Roque Segio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Alvarado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Segio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Club Atletico Alvarado fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Club Atletico Alvarado's Roque Segio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Club Atletico Alvarado's attack was well implemented in the 81st minute, but when Roque Segio was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The supporters of Robles booed when Club Atletico Alvarado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Alvarado's goalkeeper Epifanio Peter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Austin. Pastor Berto struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jacinto Platon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Alvarado. Club Atletico Alvarado walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
