But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Eguzki couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Segio in the 18th minute of play forced Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Melchor Azibar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Segio in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Azibar saved Buenos Aires from getting behind. Roque Segio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Basajaun hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Arturo Diaz in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Buenos Aires's Faustino Bilbo. Roque Segio's late challenge caught a Buenos Aires's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Segio helped the player get up and apologised. Roque Segio might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melchor Azibar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Segio ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Eguzki hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Roque Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Azibar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires's Melchor Ralondo got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Segio to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Roque Segio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Buenos Aires's Melchor Azibar. Melchor Azibar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires's Isaac Heriberto got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jonas Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Azibar having to interfere. Roque Segio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Azibar having to make a save. Aurelio Guillem scored 1-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Peter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Alvarado's Rogelio Sendoa got a free kick in the 80th minute. Isaac Heriberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Peter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Heriberto ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Buenos Aires booed when Club Atletico Alvarado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Eguzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Roque Segio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Alvarado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Segio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Buenos Aires's Melchor Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Buenos Aires from getting a goal against them. When Club Atletico Alvarado's Roque Segio in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
