In the 2nd minute, Leonel Urko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 minutes of play, Guañacos AFC's Inocencio Semeno made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Platon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hilario Austin struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Nicanor Ostadar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robles. Nicanor Ostadar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilario Austin in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Lorenzo Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Semeno in the 25th minute of play forced Robles's goalkeeper Jacinto Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Semeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, Robles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Farias to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Ostadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Fagondo in the 34th minute of the match. Lorenzo Fagondo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicanor Ostadar came out and tried to block the shot, but Lorenzo Fagondo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Israel Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guañacos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Israel Herensuge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Platon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Fagondo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Robles's zone, Inocencio Semeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Platon came out of the goal and Inocencio Semeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocencio Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Platon having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Israel Herensuge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Platon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hilario Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nicanor Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Herensuge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jacinto Platon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robles's Jacinto Platon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Robles from getting a goal against them. Marcelino Abella shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Fagondo in the 77th minute of play forced Guañacos AFC's goalkeeper Nicanor Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Fagondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicanor Ostadar having to make a save. Nicanor Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Fagondo in the 86th minute of play. Nicanor Ostadar came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Robles's Lorenzo Fagondo. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Fagondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jacinto Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Semeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Austin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
