Ramiro Farias helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Robles getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ramiro Farias hit a great ball. If Juan Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jose Fagondo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Robles's protests and gave Jose Fagondo a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Fagondo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Robles's zone, Pastor Euloxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Platon came out of the goal and Pastor Euloxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Estevon got free with Jacinto Platon in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Robles's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Euloxu came free, but Jacinto Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Academia de Juarez's Nicasio Iruinea got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Emanuel Katia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agustin Montel skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute Pastor Euloxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Euloxu in the 44th minute of the match. Jacinto Platon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Euloxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Fagondo was the one to do the kick off. Robles's Jacinto Platon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Estevon in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of La Academia de Juarez booed when Robles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Katia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 73 minutes into the match, La Academia de Juarez's Juan Estevon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Platon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Euloxu in the 87th minute of play forced Robles's goalkeeper Jacinto Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Euloxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute Pastor Euloxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
