Spectators: 7112 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roque Segio kicked off to start the match. Roque Segio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Medardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Central Norte getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Mauricio Santxol hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Central Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Segio came free, but Fernando Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Karmel charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Karmel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 minutes, Mauricio Santxol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Central Norte and the Club Atletico Alvarado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Central Norte got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Santxol. 16 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Alvarado's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Etxeberri came free, but Epifanio Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Peter came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Central Norte's Nestor Etxeberri. But to his dismay, Nestor Etxeberri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Epifanio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Bingen in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Etxeberri in the 28th minute of play forced Club Atletico Alvarado's goalkeeper Epifanio Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roque Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Central Norte's Fernando Karmel got a free kick in the 36th minute. With a little luck, Central Norte's Fernando Medardo got control of the ball when Roque Segio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Club Atletico Alvarado booed when Central Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Roque Segio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Etxeberri to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Central Norte getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mauricio Santxol hit a great ball. In the 56th play minute Ruperto Bingen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Epifanio Peter. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Central Norte's Fernando Karmel got a free kick in the 60th minute. It was beautiful to see Club Atletico Alvarado's Pastor Berto in action when he in the 63rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ruperto Bingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Epifanio Peter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Segio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Club Atletico Alvarado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Eguzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ruperto Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Central Norte supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Central Norte would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
