In the 36th play minute Leonides Hitz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacinto Platon. 1-0. When Leonides Hitz came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the La Mentira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Hitz couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, La Mentira's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Fagondo came free, but Octavio Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Robles would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
