Nicanor Ostadar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Victoriano Galtero. 27 minutes into the match, Guañacos AFC's Inocencio Semeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavio Guilabertus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Israel Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, La Mentira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Tebaldo to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Guañacos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Carlomagno came free, but Nicanor Ostadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leonides Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute of the match Nicanor Rojelio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Ostadar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Inocencio Semeno made the kick off in the second half. If Elpidio Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, La Mentira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Tebaldo to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Eguerdi kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Inocencio Semeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Guañacos AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Geronimo Eleazar hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the game, La Mentira's Leonides Hitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Ostadar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 67 minutes, Israel Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guañacos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Herensuge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, La Mentira's Octavio Guilabertus got control of the ball when Israel Herensuge tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Mentira's Octavio Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Semeno in the 74th minute of play. Inocencio Semeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Octavio Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Carlomagno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Ostadar having to interfere. Guañacos AFC's Nicanor Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Hitz in the 86th minute of play. Cristian Carlomagno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nicanor Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Louis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Leonides Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of La Mentira booed when Guañacos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guañacos AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Mentira.
