Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Romulo Aztore kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético River Plate's Adolfo Cruz got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Vicente Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Jax having to interfere. Honorato Manny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Jax read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Ricart during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Barcala FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Ricart. In the 16th minute, Honorato Manny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 played minutes Club Atlético River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Cruz. Vicente Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benicio Nuxila during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético River Plate booed when Barcala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Nuxila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Fermin Unax sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Vellito skillfully saved the ball. When Saturnino Efraim came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Club Atlético River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Efraim couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Barcala FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Segundo Bertin hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Barcala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. If Saturnino Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Efraim might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Vellito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Efraim ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Aztore in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Vellito saved Barcala FC from getting behind. Amado Ricart hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Romulo Aztore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Aztore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Vellito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Barcala FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorato Manny stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Vicente Ikatz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Atlético River Plate's Tomas Jax. Tomas Jax was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amado Ricart kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético River Plate's zone, Honorato Manny stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Jax came out of the goal and Honorato Manny tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Romulo Aztore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Barcala FC got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Nuxila. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Efraim in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Vellito saved Barcala FC from getting behind. After having played for 76 minutes, Romulo Aztore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Aztore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Saturnino Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Bertin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Saturnino Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Vellito came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético River Plate's Romulo Aztore. But to his dismay, Romulo Aztore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Saturnino Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
