The referee showed Damaso Formerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ampallo booed when Sportivo Pueyrredon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Formerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paolo Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Jakue hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Paolo Berdoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damaso Formerio kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Paolo Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Pueyrredon's zone, Silvestre Orzaize stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Chale came out of the goal and Silvestre Orzaize tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ampallo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Baldomiro Irrintzi 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 28th match minute, Ampallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Orzaize to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Colon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Irrintzi in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Silvestre Orzaize managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampallo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Orzaize was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paolo Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tiburcio Chale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Roland scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiburcio Chale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Pueyrredon's zone, Paolo Berdoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Chale came out of the goal and Paolo Berdoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paolo Berdoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

A collision led to Sportivo Pueyrredon getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Baltasar Rudolfo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ampallo's Eustaquio Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Virgilio Cuarto succeeded in the game's 58th minute to get real power on a long shot . Ampallo's Baldomiro Colon hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! Paolo Berdoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Chale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paolo Berdoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Silvestre Orzaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Paolo Berdoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiburcio Chale. Paolo Berdoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Paolo Berdoi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Baldomiro Colon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Precioso, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Precioso in the 77th minute of play forced Ampallo's goalkeeper Baldomiro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ampallo's Paolo Berdoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiburcio Chale. That made the score 2-3 after 81 minutes of play. In the 92nd minute, Virgilio Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Israel Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Sportivo Pueyrredon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ampallo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
