Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) PROvincianos FC's Severino Dalmau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Urtsua in the 4th minute of play forced PROvincianos FC's goalkeeper Salvador Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Frutos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvador Eladio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Chepe in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Chepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Eladio was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 23rdth minute of the game Cristobal Chepe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PROvincianos FC's Salvador Eladio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Estudiantes de la Plata booed when PROvincianos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Tohias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, PROvincianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Urtsua came free, but Salvador Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arnulfo Tohias came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the PROvincianos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Tohias couldn't finish the play. Severino Dalmau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Dolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Ubaldo Dolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Dalmau's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Paulino Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Estudiantes de la Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Feliu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Dalmau in the 47th minute of play forced Estudiantes de la Plata's goalkeeper Ubaldo Dolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Urtsua to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulino Frutos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Ubaldo Dolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PROvincianos FC. Salvador Eladio made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cristobal Chepe sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Baudelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Dolfo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Arnulfo Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot. PROvincianos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Tohias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Dolfo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulino Frutos struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ubaldo Dolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Ubaldo Dolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Paulino Frutos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Frutos in the 94th minute of play forced Estudiantes de la Plata's goalkeeper Ubaldo Dolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Estudiantes de la Plata getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rene Ilixo hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the PROvincianos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
