With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Irrintzi in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Atarrabi saved Crespo from getting behind. Tiburcio Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Aztore in the 7th minute of play. Mauricio Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Rudolfo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Baldomiro Irrintzi struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Enrique Atarrabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Pueyrredon. In the 16th minute, Hector Nahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Atarrabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Lázaro Precioso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Atarrabi. Crespo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Precioso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Baldomiro Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Atarrabi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Precioso in the 30th minute of play forced Crespo's goalkeeper Enrique Atarrabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Aztore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiburcio Chale having to make a save. Virgilio Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Mauricio Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tiburcio Chale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Rudolfo's late challenge caught a Crespo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Rudolfo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Baltasar Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

48 minutes into the match, Crespo's Mauricio Gustau shot a high long ball. Sportivo Pueyrredon's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Irrintzi was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute Mauricio Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Atarrabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Irrintzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Hector Nahia charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Nahia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hector Nahia hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With his leg Enrique Atarrabi managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Sportivo Pueyrredon's Lázaro Precioso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 67 minutes into the game, Epifanio Espiridion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crespo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Pueyrredon the free kick. If Baldomiro Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Irrintzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Enrique Atarrabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute of the match Baldomero Ignatius shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiburcio Chale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Crespo's zone, Lázaro Precioso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Atarrabi came out of the goal and Lázaro Precioso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lázaro Precioso came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Sportivo Pueyrredon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Precioso couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Aztore in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Crespo's Mauricio Gilesindo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Chale was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lázaro Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sportivo Pueyrredon's Lázaro Precioso got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
