Iacob Petruț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Iker Jatsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Weather showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Odilon in the 65th minute of the match. Celedonio Weather didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Odilon went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Iacob Petruț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Santos in the 74th minute of the match. Justino Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justino Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justino Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celedonio Weather showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Jatsu couldn't finish the play. Darwen Football Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
