The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Carolo Ulizes came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Pavón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Ulizes couldn't finish the play. If Gaston Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Anselmo Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Ladio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Amor in the 10th minute of play. Gaston Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUD's Ubaldo Nikola got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in JUVENTUD's zone, Jose Berenguer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Laurin came out of the goal and Jose Berenguer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 played minutes JUVENTUD got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Ted. If Jose Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes of play, JUVENTUD's Gaston Amor made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Ladio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jose Berenguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Leon Laurin made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Pavón's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Asteri came free, but Gavino Ladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Laurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Ulizes in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Gaston Amor made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pavón's Gavino Ladio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Anselmo Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Ladio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Amor's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The Pavón players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. JUVENTUD were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carolo Ulizes was the one to do the kick off. Anselmo Asteri struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Gavino Ladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUVENTUD. Gaston Amor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Gavino Ladio made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Anselmo Asteri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gavino Ladio. The goal made the score 0-5. Ubaldo Nikola's late challenge caught a Pavón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Nikola helped the player get up and apologised. Ubaldo Nikola hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Jose Berenguer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Laurin having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Berenguer in the 79th minute of play forced JUVENTUD's goalkeeper Leon Laurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Asteri in the 82nd minute of play forced Pavón's goalkeeper Gavino Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Ixaka hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gaston Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gavino Ladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Asteri might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Ladio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Asteri ran back to his position shaking his head. When Anselmo Asteri came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the JUVENTUD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Asteri couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Restu in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Ladio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Anselmo Asteri made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Ladio. Pavón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. When the final whistle sounded JUVENTUD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pavón.
