Durazno's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Cheche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Giro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodosio Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Ibon struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Pablo Mitxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samuhú. 35 minutes into the match, Durazno's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Ibon came free, but Pablo Mitxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Filomeno Cheche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eugenio Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Cutberto made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Birjaio during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rafael Ibon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Mitxel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Antonio Benet got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mario Cutberto struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Durazno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Cheche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Cutberto in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Giro saved Samuhú from getting behind. Elpidio Segio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Mario Cutberto made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Giro. Samuhú's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Rafael Ibon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Pablo Mitxel made a huge save. 76 minutes into the game, Durazno's Teodosio Aguirre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anselmo Giro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Eulalio Castel's late challenge caught a Durazno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Castel helped the player get up and apologised. 85 minutes into the match, Eugenio Birjaio notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Samuhú's Anselmo Giro. Anselmo Giro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Durazno getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Enzo Gartxot hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Cutberto in the 91st minute of play forced Samuhú's goalkeeper Anselmo Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anselmo Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Durazno's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Benet came free, but Pablo Mitxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
