An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Leguizamón in the 11th minute of play forced poolman's goalkeeper Braulio Milio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Donzel in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Milio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugenio Donzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16thth minute of the game Eugenio Donzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but poolman's Braulio Milio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Leopoldo Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Etxahun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Eugenio Donzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmar's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Donzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Milio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Palmar's Eugenio Donzel in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye poolman's goalie prevented a goal. Braulio Milio came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Palmar's Eugenio Donzel. But to his dismay, Eugenio Donzel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After the first half Palmar were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Olo was the one to do the kick off. Angel Sein hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Eugenio Donzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Milio having to interfere. With a little luck, poolman's Braulio Milio got control of the ball when Eugenio Donzel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugenio Donzel struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Braulio Milio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmar. In the 69th minute, poolman's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Siro Frasco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 70 minutes, Aurelio Leguizamón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Leguizamón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Donzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Braulio Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eugenio Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Frasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Milio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siro Frasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Braulio Milio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Donzel's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Leopoldo Etxahun might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braulio Milio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Etxahun ran back to his position shaking his head. Eugenio Donzel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Eugenio Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The poolman fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palmar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
