Julian Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Dunixi in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Anselmo Laurgain threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rocky's Aaron Blai quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 27 played minutes Miguel Dunixi rounded Villarreal FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Villarreal FC's Julian Christobal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Firmo in the 30th minute of play. Julian Christobal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aaron Blai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Julian Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tomás Firmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rocky's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Firmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Christobal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Firmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julian Christobal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Firmo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Rocky booed when Villarreal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Victoro made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tomás Firmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rocky fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villarreal FC's goalkeeper Julian Christobal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Tomás Firmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rocky fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Tomás Firmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Miguel Dunixi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Aaron Blai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villarreal FC's Julian Christobal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72 minutes, Juan Ramone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villarreal FC and the Rocky players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rocky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Firmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Blai struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Julian Christobal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rocky. When Tomás Firmo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rocky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Firmo couldn't finish the play.
