The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Emesto couldn't finish the play. Antonio Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rafael Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Apolo Sandaili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Benet was the one to do the kick off. Samuhú's Anselmo Giro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Emesto in the 56th minute of play. If Nemesio Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nolos Team's Paulino Paio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Rafael Ibon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Sandaili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Rafael Ibons short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Apolo Sandaili to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 82 minutes into the game, Casimiro Ovando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Apolo Sandaili. Casimiro Ovando showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Honorio Martxot hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Nolos Team's Apolo Sandaili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Nolos Team from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Antonio Benet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
