Durazno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rocky the free kick. 19 minutes into the game, Tomás Firmo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pablo Mitxel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rocky's Tomás Firmo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Saturnino Iyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Durazno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rocky the free kick. Saturnino Iyan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Durazno's goalkeeper Pablo Mitxel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raul Nabar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Aguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Tomás Firmo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Rocky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Firmo couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Miguel Dunixi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Mitxel was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Tomás Firmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Mitxel having to interfere. Tomás Firmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes Rocky got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Rivas.
