In the 3rd minute, Gervasio Marquez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vladimiro Montxo, passed just outside the right post. Godofredo Vergaray hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Lucas Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Vergaray in the 9th minute of the match. Horacio Pierres hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Godofredo Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Jon having to interfere. Lucas Jon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Lonzo's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Vladimiro Montxo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nunez Bartuelo. After a defensive mix-up in DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC's zone, Baldomero Arixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Montxo came out of the goal and Baldomero Arixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Havier during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Havier to maneuver through the defense. Godofredo Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiro Montxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Granville's Baldomero Arixo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Godofredo Vergaray came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Vergaray couldn't finish the play. If Gervasio Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Vladimiro Montxo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Granville's Gervasio Marquez. But to his dismay, Gervasio Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tiburcio Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Arixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Montxo having to interfere. In the 89th minute Feliciano Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Montxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
