The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Canals FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Albano Haritzeder hit a great ball. Canals FC's Eulalio Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Felo in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canals FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Bermudo was slow to take the kick. During this time Rinconada's players had a chance to rest. Aaron Oliveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Pastor Orkatz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Rinconada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Luar hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Lucas Urdaspal came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eulalio Eufemio could save by the left post. Eulalio Eufemio made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Lucas Urdaspal sent off a good shot on target. Marciano Felo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 42 minutes into the game, Albano Haritzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canals FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rinconada the free kick. The supporters of Rinconada booed when Canals FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Haritzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marciano Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Modestio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Rinconada's Marcos Bermudo tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Maureo to strike the kick off in the second half. Rinconada's Jacinto Elia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Maureo in the 55th minute of play. Eulalio Eufemio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Urdaspal in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Marciano Felo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rinconada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Eulalio Eufemio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marciano Felo's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Marciano Felo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Eufemio having to interfere. Eulalio Eufemio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Urdaspal in the 72nd minute of play. Rinconada's Lucas Urdaspal got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Canals FC's Albano Haritzeder got a free kick in the 89th minute. Canals FC's Eulalio Eufemio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Urdaspal in the 90th minute of play. Eulalio Eufemio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Urdaspal, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 95 played minutes Canals FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Peli. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rinconada fully deserved thier win.
