Daniel Lartaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when Herminio Rey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Quemquemtreu's Daniel Lartaun got control of the ball when Ariel Eron tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Quemquemtreu's Gervasio Machado got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Nestor Oskitz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Quemquemtreu's Daniel Lartaun didn't even have to move. Daniel Lartaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Rey in the 18th minute of the match. If Herminio Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Rey in the 23rd minute of play. When Herminio Rey came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Vencedores-Vencidos... fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Rey couldn't finish the play. Herminio Rey struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Daniel Lartaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vencedores-Vencidos.... The supporters of Vencedores-Vencidos... booed when Quemquemtreu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Erruki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes, Vencedores-Vencidos...'s Nestor Oskitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Lartaun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vencedores-Vencidos... reached it. Leonel Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leonel Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Daniel Lartaun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Santos Cugat kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Daniel Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Lartaun came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Vencedores-Vencidos...'s Herminio Rey. But to his dismay, Herminio Rey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herminio Rey was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Eron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Paolo Otsoa managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Quemquemtreu's Santos Cugat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Eron in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Ariel Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herminio Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
