Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reynaldo Maureo kicked off to start the match. After 22 played minutes Canals FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Maureo. Reynaldo Maureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Lartaun having to interfere. Eulalio Eufemio made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Santos Cugat sent off a good shot on target. Santos Cugat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eulalio Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Eliazar in the 34th minute of play forced Quemquemtreu's goalkeeper Daniel Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Eufemio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Cugat in the 37th minute. Daniel Lartaun came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Canals FC's Reynaldo Maureo. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Maureo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Ibañez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Maureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Filiberto Urtungo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eulalio Eufemio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 62 played minutes Canals FC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Orkatz. If Reynaldo Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Lartaun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Maureo went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Quemquemtreu's Daniel Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Maureo in the 78th minute of play. Eulalio Eufemio came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Quemquemtreu's Santos Cugat. But to his dismay, Santos Cugat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Canals FC's Everardo Eliazar got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Reynaldo Maureo came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Canals FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Maureo couldn't finish the play. The Canals FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Canals FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
