Eulalio Eufemio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Rio in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Canals FC's zone, Teobaldo Urtsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Eufemio came out of the goal and Teobaldo Urtsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Nafarroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Rio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Canals FC's zone, Teobaldo Urtsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Eufemio came out of the goal and Teobaldo Urtsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teobaldo Urtsin took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eulalio Eufemio. Eulalio Eufemio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 20 minutes Canals FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafael Clodio who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Amancio Frantzes advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 21st minute. 27 minutes in the game, Cornelio Rio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eulalio Eufemio having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Ripiculti de La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Clodio to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Cornelio Rio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Urtsin in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Eufemio saved Canals FC from getting behind. If Teobaldo Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Urtsin got free with Eulalio Eufemio in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute of the match Artemio Gustau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eulalio Eufemio skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Maureo to make the kick off. Eulalio Eufemio came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ripiculti de La Plata's Cornelio Rio. But to his dismay, Cornelio Rio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Eulalio Eufemio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Teobaldo Urtsin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripiculti de La Plata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Urtsin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Teobaldo Urtsin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canals FC's Eulalio Eufemio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eulalio Eufemio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Rio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teobaldo Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Urtsin in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Eufemio saved Canals FC from getting behind. Teobaldo Urtsin struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Eulalio Eufemio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripiculti de La Plata. Everardo Eliazar kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ripiculti de La Plata's Oscar Malbernat managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gonzalo Peli in the 87 minute of the game. Oscar Malbernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eulalio Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Everardo Eliazar fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canals FC's protests and gave Everardo Eliazar a yellow card for diving instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ripiculti de La Plata had played much better football throughout.
