Gregorio Horado ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnulfo Acuña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Horado in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Zacarias Bizi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jacinto Piarres, passed just outside the right post. Horacio Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Acuña having to interfere. Jonatan Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Arnulfo Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Horado to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Hartz in the 53rd minute of play forced Kiola FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Piarres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Hanot's late challenge caught a Kiola FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Hanot helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Joe FC's Eliseo Hanot got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Horacio Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiola FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horacio Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Kiola FC's Gregorio Horado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Acuña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
