Saul Itzaina's late challenge caught a Panquena FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Giraldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Arnulfo Acuña when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Anselmo Giraldo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Panquena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Giraldo couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Joe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Florin came free, but Arnulfo Acuña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Giraldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Joe FC's Eliseo Hanot got a free kick in the 27th minute. Anselmo Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arnulfo Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonatan Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnulfo Acuña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Giraldo in the 46th minute. Joe FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Erubiel Florin scored to the left of an out of position Arnulfo Acuña, making the score, 1-0.

Zacarias Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Sazon having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Jonatan Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Hartz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Sazon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 86 minutes into the match, Joe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Giraldo came free, but Arnulfo Acuña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joe FC's Arnulfo Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Giraldo in the 94th minute of play. Arnulfo Acuña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Florin in the 95th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
