Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zacarias Bizi kicked off to start the match. Fernan Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Bizi in the 7th minute of play. If Cosme Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnulfo Acuña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Maureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of ֎ Atlanta ֎ booed when Joe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Loren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joe FC's Arnulfo Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Maureo in the 16th minute of play. Zacarias Bizi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, ֎ Atlanta ֎'s goalkeeper Fernan Maiorga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Hartz. If Jonatan Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ֎ Atlanta ֎'s Nunez Gai got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Wilfredo Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ֎ Atlanta ֎'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Maureo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Teo Nesto charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Nesto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ֎ Atlanta ֎ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Teo Nesto hit a great ball. Omar Frederico hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Jonatan Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fernan Maiorga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Bizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ֎ Atlanta ֎'s Prudencio Laurin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Arnulfo Acuña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Ilixo's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Joe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Ilixo came free, but Arnulfo Acuña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Joe FC's zone, Cosme Ilixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Acuña came out of the goal and Cosme Ilixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
