The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Tadeo Ekaitz fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sp Rivadavia's protests and gave Tadeo Ekaitz a yellow card for diving instead. Natalio Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Itzaina having to interfere. In the 15th minute Elias Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Itzaina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Elias Walme took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cipriano Itzaina to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in sp Rivadavia's zone, Lázaro Clemencin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Itzaina came out of the goal and Lázaro Clemencin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. sp Rivadavia's Elias Lop got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match Benito Amaya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Garin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Elias Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Itzaina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Elias Lop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Santo Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of sp Rivadavia booed when Revolucion 3CV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Feliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to sp Rivadavia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Edgard Ramond hit a great ball. Revolucion 3CV's Lázaro Clemencin got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Elias Lop put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Santo Garin. 63 minutes into the match, Revolucion 3CV's goalkeeper Santo Garin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Lop. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Clemencin in the 67th minute of play forced sp Rivadavia's goalkeeper Cipriano Itzaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Hegoi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Elias Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cipriano Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Elias Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revolucion 3CV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Walme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Natalio Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Itzaina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Walme's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Revolucion 3CV's Elias Walme got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Itzaina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Elias Lop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Santo Garin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Revolucion 3CV's Mariano Hegoi got a free kick in the 95th minute. When Elias Lop came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the sp Rivadavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Lop couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
