With his leg Francisco Iratxo managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Torino FC's Florentino Eyague fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Florentino Eyague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Iratxo having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Torino FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Perutxo. Rosendo Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Los Picachu booed when Torino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torino FC's Florentino Eyague got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Torino FC's zone, Rosendo Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Jakes came out of the goal and Rosendo Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Leguizamón during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Torino FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Leguizamón. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Batista in the 38th minute of play forced Torino FC's goalkeeper Segundo Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Florentino Eyague got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosendo Batista was the one to do the kick off. Francisco Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Eyague, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Elias Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Batista in the 91st minute of play. Torino FC's Segundo Jakes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Torino FC from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Picachu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Torino FC.
