After a rather tough play, Los Picachu's Valentin Pitin got a free kick in the 4th minute. Francisco Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Richie in the 5th minute of the match. Los Picachu's Francisco Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Berdaitz in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rosendo Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Argenis was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Victor Richie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panaholma FC's Nereo Argenis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Batista in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Batista in the 19th minute of play forced Panaholma FC's goalkeeper Nereo Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nereo Argenis made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Elias Eate sent off a good shot on target. Elias Eate might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Argenis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Eate ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Victor Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Francisco Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Panaholma FC's Victor Richie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Iratxo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute Rosendo Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Argenis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Santo Lixandro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Picachu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panaholma FC the free kick. Santo Lixandro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Victor Richie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Iratxo having to interfere. Nereo Argenis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Eate in the 57th minute of the match. If Elias Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Eate might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Argenis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Eate ran back to his position shaking his head. Elias Eate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Pitin during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rafael Berdaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Diego Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Elias Eate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Picachu's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Eate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Argenis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los Picachu's Santo Lixandro got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Santo Lixandro off the ground. The supporters of Panaholma FC booed when Los Picachu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Lixandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panaholma FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
