Pablo Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Claris in the 14th minute of play. Urbano Tulio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Juventud Unida Cordobesa's Joaquin Vargas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mixto. In the 19th minute of the match, Marco Papo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fernan Uxio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Danilo Mantzio kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Pablo Nerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cecilio Claris went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Pablo Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Gervaso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Jeremias Gervaso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mixto's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

After having played for 63 minutes, Marco Papo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mixto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Papo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodosio Pasqual in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Uxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juventud Unida Cordobesa's Fernan Uxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Papo in the 69th minute of play. Pablo Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Papo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernan Uxio saved Juventud Unida Cordobesa from getting behind. When Cecilio Claris came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Juventud Unida Cordobesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Claris couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Juventud Unida Cordobesa booed when Mixto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Bordat didn't get a good kick on the ball.
