In the 33rd minute of the match Elvio Bordat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Eutropio skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Teodosio Pasqual made the kick off in the second half. Teodosio Checa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Abel Adrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Nerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Etiqueta Negra FC's zone, Teodosio Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Eutropio came out of the goal and Teodosio Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Ladio in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pablo Nerio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jacobo Gerazan sped through Mixto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pablo Nerio. Teodosio Pasqual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gerardo Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
