In the 17th minute Rosendo Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Elias Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Evaristo Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Eate struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. A wasted opportunity for Los Picachu. 40 minutes into the match, Rosendo Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Medero. Lincoln's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Claudio Xabel's late challenge caught a Lincoln's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Xabel helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Los Picachu got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Xabel. After recieving a nice pass, Lincoln's Santiago Guillem tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Francisco Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Chinto in the 53rd minute of the match. Valentin Pitin charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Pitin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Los Picachu's Valentin Pitin got a free kick in the 54th minute. Paolo Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Francisco Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Los Picachu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Duardo to maneuver through the defense. Paolo Chinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Rosendo Batista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lincoln's Evaristo Medero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Lincoln from getting a goal against them. Los Picachu's Francisco Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Txomin in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Lincoln booed when Los Picachu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jonas Txomin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Medero having to interfere. Elias Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lincoln's Paolo Chinto in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Picachu's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Los Picachu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
