Amador Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With his leg Dante Mino managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Mixto's Marco Papo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Mixto's Uriel Cutberto got a free kick in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Normando in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Nerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Elias Loiola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Nerio. Mixto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Loiola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Mixto's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Loiola came free, but Pablo Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Normando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Normando in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Nerio saved Mixto from getting behind. Elias Loiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Pablo Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Normando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Normando in the 37th minute of play. When Amador Normando came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Santo Evangelio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Normando couldn't finish the play. If Amador Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes Mixto got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Checa. Amador Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pablo Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Mino having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Normando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gaston Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Loiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Pablo Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute of the match Inocencio Pere shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Nerio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Papo in the 62nd minute of play forced Santo Evangelio's goalkeeper Dante Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Mixto's Marco Papo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Mino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Amador Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marco Papo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mixto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Papo couldn't finish the play. If Elias Loiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Nerio was a little too slow when Amador Normando got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-2. 84 minutes into the match, Mixto's goalkeeper Pablo Nerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Loiola. The audience was convinced that Amador Normando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Nerio was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Amador Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mixto getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Elvio Bordat hit a great ball.
