In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind La pelota no se mancha FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Porfiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Mixto's Marco Papo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Porfiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Simon Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Mixto's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Hermelando came free, but Pablo Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Nerio having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, La pelota no se mancha FC's Simon Pedroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Nerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Papo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Porfiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodosio Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lázaro Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Hermelando made a kick off. Pablo Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Hermelando, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Fabio Shepherd charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Shepherd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, La pelota no se mancha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. Marco Papo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Lázaro Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mixto. Mauro Hermelando took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Nerio. Pablo Nerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Marco Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lázaro Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La pelota no se mancha FC's Genaro Nardo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Teodosio Pasqual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Porfiro having to interfere. Urbano Tulio's late challenge caught a La pelota no se mancha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urbano Tulio helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Mauro Hermelando managed to get in a good position for a shot. La pelota no se mancha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Hermelando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Nerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
