Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) Efrain Mero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Teo Perez came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Miranda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Perez couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, Miranda's Abel Gurutz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Iturri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abel Gurutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Epifanio Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Abel Gurutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miranda's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Gurutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Iturri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the game, Jonathan Umea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hidalgo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miranda the free kick. Jonathan Umea kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Miranda's Teobaldo Jaen got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, one of Miranda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Placido Quintyn had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Leonardo Sandaili's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Efrain Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Quintyn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Kiliz went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Placido Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Kiliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 27th match minute, Miranda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Jaen to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miranda's Teo Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Gurutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Miranda getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Agustin Christobal hit a great ball. Leonardo Sandaili, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Gurutz to make the kick off. Placido Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Mero in the 53rd minute of play. When Hidalgo FC's Efrain Mero in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Gurutz in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Iturri saved Hidalgo FC from getting behind. Efrain Mero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Iturri having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Gurutz in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Iturri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Hidalgo FC defense, Teo Perez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Iturri. The Hidalgo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Iturri should have stopped the shot. If Abel Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Kiliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Miranda's Alejandro Lorencio got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Miranda supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hidalgo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hidalgo FC.
